more options:

A win for companies and for women

The Project

FairPlusService has started again and will be implemented again from November 2023 to 2028 by ÖSB Consulting in cooperation with ABZ*AUSTRIA, update Training and ÖSB Social Innovation. We are in the middle of project implementation We are delighted to be implementing this fantastic project for an inclusive labor market with equal opportunities for all, especially for women in formally low- and unskilled employment, with entrepreneurs and employees. The previous project (2020-2023) was further developed with important insights to better address current challenges.

Further information

You can find further information about the project implementation here. Our website is constantly updated.

FairPlusService is a free coaching and consulting service for companies in the service sector and their employees, which is entirely dedicated to Equal opportunities, empowerment and future orientation stands.

As bridge builders, we align the interests of managers with the needs of employees

  • The Lack of work and skilled workers is still big.
Our objective: Increasing the level of employment and training of women and gender-oriented skills/talent management
  • The Shift from employer to employee market: According to WIFO, female-dominated sectors expect the largest increase in advertised positions by 2030.
Our objective: Increasing equality-oriented employer competence, especially in the areas of recruiting, onboarding and employee retention through an appreciative corporate culture and participation
  • The still high Inflation puts our target group in particular under economic pressure, as in Austria significantly more women earn low wages than men (risk of poverty).
Our objective: Increasing the level of employment and professional development to secure the livelihoods of women
  • The digital (and green) transformation
is also an important issue in low-wage sectors (keyword: digital and green skills). At the same time, continuing education is difficult for many SMEs to afford and access to education is unequally distributed.
Our objective: Access to inclusive and participatory training, self-learning opportunities, funding for companies
  • Incidents of discrimination
in the workplace remains a current problem.
Our objective: Successful diversity management and inclusion

Objectives of the project

The aim is to allow companies to benefit directly from the promotion of their female employees and thus make an active contribution to Equality between women and men on the labour market. The focus is on the promotion and further development as well as the stabilisation of careers of women with low formal qualifications or those in unskilled employment and the development of future-oriented skills. Companies gain with FairPlusService reliable and competent employees. Employees develop new perspectives and skills.

The program, which is offered throughout Austria (except for Burgenland), focuses on sectors such as catering, retail, cleaning, and food and textile production, as these sectors have a particularly high number of employees considered low-wage workers. The project also focuses on the "health and social services" and "education and teaching" sectors.
